Noa Yekutieli is an Israeli-American contemporary artist who works mostly in manual paper-cutting technique and creates site specific installations. In her work she refers to human aspects of complex social situations and raises questions in regards to the place of the memory in the relations to the way political, social and personal narratives are created and evolve. The foundation of her work is documentation. She uses photography and employs press-images to cause shifts from everyday moments to natural or man-made disasters; this shift enables her to explore occurrences of the formation of memory and the construction of narratives in different locations.
