IN BETWEEN ON ZAZCorner Billboard | DIGITAL EXHIBITION

In Between is a video art program presented on the ZAZCorner Billboard in Times Square. Every 2-3 minutes, 15-second video artworks are displayed between commercials on the large LED screen in Times Square New York.

Launched in September 2020, In Between features monthly showcases curated by institutions like Yale School of Art, Columbia University, Bezalel Academy, and Lightbox, as well as in-house curators Tzili Charney and Limei Wang. The program brings together artists from around the world, offering a unique cultural experience in one of the world’s busiest urban environments.

By offering a continuous visual display, In Between makes contemporary video art accessible to millions of viewers in Times Square.

Energetic Soul by Marc Tudisco, a defining voice in contemporary 3D art, presents a speculative ecosystem of 3D CGI creatures. Each video becomes a work of performance, where hybrid beings with soft, shifting bodies covered in hair like cyber splines perform an enigmatic dance that emerges from a balance between simulation and intuition, moving fluidly between control and randomness.
