Energetic Soul BY Marc Tudisco | CURATED BY BRAW HAUS
Feb 27 to March 25, 2026
ZAZCorner Times Square Billboard, South East Corner of 41st Street and 7th Avenue
PRESENTED “IN BETWEEN” PROGRAMMING
ZAZ10TS and Braw Haus are trilled to present the digital exhibition Energetic Soul by Marc Tudisco. Known for his bold, unconventional visual language that transforms the surreal into striking digital worlds, Tudisco is a defining voice in contemporary 3D art. Curated by Braw Haus, a global digital art studio championing Web3 and new media artists, this billboard presentation brings cutting edge digital practice to the heart of Times Square.
In this series Energetic Soul, Tudisco creates a speculative ecosystem of 3D CGI creatures, hybrid beings with soft, shifting bodies covered in hair like cyber splines. These strands function as sensory extensions that respond to invisible forces, shaping how the creatures move and exist within their digital environment. As the artist explains, “I use 3D simulation to imagine forms of life that do not exist yet.”
In the adapted 15 second videos, the creatures’ mysterious movements were captured from real human motion using motion capture technology and rendered in 3D in real time. Their slow, enigmatic dancing emerges from a balance between simulation and intuition, moving between control and randomness. Tudisco describes this process as an exploration of “artificial bodies, sensitivity, and the possibility of emotion in digital matter.” Through procedural animation and digital material experiments, he examines how emotion, presence, and identity can appear in synthetic bodies that feel alive, yet remain unfamiliar and impossible to fully define.
Presented in the heart of Times Square, these CGI beings briefly surface amid waves of light, sound, and constant movement. Within the commercial spectacle of the city, Energetic Soul offers a moment of encounter with a new and evolving form of digital life.
