Tal Frank

About The Artist

Tal Frank is a multimedia visual artist based in Mexico City. She has extensive experience in consulting in the areas of sculpture and industrial design and wide experience as a sculptor lecturer. Frank is the founder and president of Radio 28, an International Cultural Program run by artist located in the historic center of Mexico City. Frank is also the Artistic Director at Rosas Moreno 68, Mexico City. Solo exhibitions and site-specific installations include The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel, General Prime, Budga Acme, Mexico City. Rosenfeld Gallery, Tel Aviv among others. Group exhibitions include HIT Gallery, Bratislava, Slovakia, La casa Invisible, Malaga, Spain, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, and Ashdod Museum of Art, Israel, among others. Frank has received The Israeli Young Artists Grant, America-Israel Foundation Fellowship, Outset Foundation Grant, Rabinovich Foundation Grant and Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts Grant, Asylum Arts, New York Grant, among others. Frank is one of the duo – The KT Project, an ongoing collaboration she has with the multimedia artist Keren Anavy, featured five exhibitions together and recently released an artist book at Printed Matter's New York Art Book Fair, at MoMA PS1, supported by ZAZ10TS. She has been Artist-in-Residence at Soma Summer Program, Mexico City, AIRIE Program, and Everglades National Park, Florida Kineret.net Israel, Asylum Arts All-star Latin America Retreat, Mexico and more. Frank received M.F.A from Haifa University and graduated with an Art teaching certificate from Hamidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl College, Israel.
